Scholarships & Resources
In addition to scholarships listed below, students should search and apply for scholarships online. Links to some scholarship search engines are listed below. Even if you are not a senior, there are various contests you can enter. You can use scholarship search engines (like those on right side of this page) to find various contests.
If you are in 8th, 9th, 10th or 11th grade--don't forget to apply for Oklahoma's Promise. This is a wonderful scholarship opportunity, and all students who qualify should apply. Students must apply by the end of their junior year of high school. There is a financial requirement. You must also graduate with a 2.5 GPA and complete the college prep curriculum. If you meet all the requirements when you graduate, you will be eligible for this scholarship, which will pay tuition to any Oklahoma public 2-year college or 4-year university. In addition, a portion of tuition is covered at an accredited Oklahoma private college/university or public career technology center. Go to okpromise.org for more information.
